How to Stay in Shape While in Quarantine

During quarantine it is easy to catch yourself lacking motivation. Instead of sitting on the couch all day, let's use quarantine as a way to get into great shape! Working out is a way to benefit your mood, energy, and overall image about yourself. We have put together a list of ways to exercise at home that we use everyday. Try picking one form of exercise listed to try each day and notice results!


Here are some ideas:


YouTube Videos:

  • Chloe Ting’s Free Workout Programs target different areas. A few include arms, legs, abs, and full body workouts! Her YouTube videos motivate you to keep pushing through the workout and help the time go by faster. Also, she provides a calendar of which workouts to do on each day which makes it easy to stay on track with working out.

  • Another great channel is blogilates! She targets all areas of the body and helps keep you motivated.

Outdoor Activities:

  • There really is a variety of outdoor activities that can be fun exercise. Some ideas include hiking, going on walks with your family, playing with your pets, jumping rope, and going on runs.

Fun Indoor Exercise:

  • Get out your old Wii and play Just dance! This is a great way to get your heart rate up.

  • Make TikTok dances!

  • Come up with a competition to do with your family such as who can do the most push-ups, sit-ups, etc.
